FAQ
Do I need an account?
No. Open the app, enter your name and the first day of your last period or your due date, and you're set.
How is the week calculated?
The due date is the first day of your last period + 280 days. The week counts completed weeks since that day. If your doctor adjusted the due date after a scan, change it in Εμείς → Τα στοιχεία μου (Us → My details).
Where is my data stored?
Only on your iPhone. If you turn on partner sharing, a small set of data goes through your own iCloud. See the privacy policy.
How do I invite my partner?
In the Εμείς (Us) tab, tap "Πρόσκληση συντρόφου" (Invite partner) and send the link by Messages, WhatsApp or any other way. You both need an iPhone signed in to iCloud. Your partner opens the link, installs Boumpouki and sees the week, your shared to-dos and whatever you choose to share.
How do I stop sharing?
Εμείς → "Σταμάτα την κοινή χρήση" (Stop sharing). The shared data is deleted from your iCloud and your partner no longer sees anything.
How do I put the kick counter on the Lock Screen?
In Εργαλεία (Tools), tap "Στο Dynamic Island" on the kick counter or the contraction timer. You can count kicks or end a contraction straight from the Live Activity or Dynamic Island. If it doesn't appear, check Settings → Μπουμπούκι → Live Activities.
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold the Home Screen or Lock Screen, tap "+" or "Customize" and find Μπουμπούκι.
How do I delete all my data?
Εμείς → "Διαγραφή όλων των δεδομένων" (Delete all data). It can't be undone.
Is the content medical advice?
No. It is general information. Every pregnancy is different and your doctor or midwife knows your case. In an emergency in Greece, call 166 or 112.
Does it cost anything?
No. Boumpouki is free, with no in-app purchases and no ads.
